Job Details: Diesel Mechanics

We are seeking applications from suitably qualified applicants with the skills and experience outlined below.

 

Please forward a detailed resume clearly demonstrating at least 7 years VERIFIABLE experience in one of the following trade categories. Applicants MUST have either a minimum of 7 years experience on the job with no qualification, or have served a 4 year apprenticeship, plus 3 years post-apprenticeship on-the-job experience.

 

DIESEL TRUCK MECHANICS:

 

Applicants MUST possess skills in one of the 4 categories listed.

• 1: AMERICAN OR WESTERN STAR DRIVELINE - experience working with Kenworth, Freightliner, International, Sterling, Peterbilt or Mack Trucks.

  • Engines: must have experience servicing, repairing and maintaining Cummins (Signature & N14) or Caterpillar (C12, C15 & C16) or Detroit (GM) (Series 60).

  • Transmissions, Differentials & Suspensions: must have serviced, maintained and repaired Eaton (Roadranger) Transmissions or Rockwell or Eaton Differentials and Hendrickson Suspensions.

• 2: IVECO - experience with Cursor Engines and Eurotronic Transmissions.

• 3: MERCEDES BENZ - experience with Atego, Axor or Actros Trucks.

• 4. VOLVO - must have experience with FM & FH models. MUST also have Trailer Mechanic experience with full air system knowledge, including airbag suspensions, disc brake and drum brake knowledge. MUST be able to MIG weld and possess sound electrical knowledge.
