Job Details: Nurses
We are seeking applications from suitably qualified nurses who are registered with either the Nursing & Midwifery Council in the UK, Irish Nursing Board or the appropriate Provincial or Territorial Regulatory Body in Canada.
Successful applicants will be initially offered a four-year contract subject to approval of a 457-visa to Australia. Positions are available in acute care, general nursing and aged care, please find below a sample duty statement. We will provide advise on apply for Nursing registration in Australia
If accepted by an Australian State Nurses registration body and after successful registration application is approved is approved we will provide an employment contact subject to 457-visa approval and will request additional documentation to allow lodgment of the 457 visa.

Essential:
• Registered Nurse Division 1
• Current Registration with relevant State Nurses Board
• Current satisfactory police check
• Provide updated police check every 3 years
• Immunization status
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
POSITION TITLE: REGISTERED NURSE DIVISION 1
K.P.I. 1 Personal & Professional Development
Description: Demonstrated experience and understanding of the need for continuation of both personal & professional development.

Continually develop both personally & professionally to meet the changing needs of your position, career & industry.

Undertake emergency training and C.P.R competency annually.

Update annually expertise in drug administration and ECG procedures.

Continually update expertise in regard to cardiac monitoring, drug administration, resuscitation, use of the defibrillator, venipuncture and ECG procedures are essential.

Attend training sessions as required.

Undertake a minimum of two professional education/study leave days pro rata per annum and present feedback on key learning activities to the unit. Provide a written report to UM for inclusion in staff meeting and personnel file.

Actively participate in the Performance Management process as required.

Maintain competency in clinical procedures appropriate to area.

Promote and maintain documentation in accordance with best practice and legislative requirement.

Promote and provide education regarding delivery of service to clients, families, carers.

Ensure admission procedures are followed as per organisational guideline.

Responsible for the correct administration of drug therapy following hospital guidelines and legislative requirements.

Responsible for care of clients pre and post-operatively.

Adhere to the Infection Control protocols and manual.

Responsible for monitoring the condition of clients and facilitating the necessary interventions.

Act as a resource person, and demonstrate technical and clinical skills associated with a Division 1 role.
