REGIONAL SPONSORED MIGRATION STREAM (RSMS)

The RSMS allows Australian employers in regional or low population growth areas of Australia sponsor overseas applicants for a permanent visa. To qualify for an RSMS visa, you need to apply to the relevant regional authority. Contact us to find out if you are eligible to sponsor on an RSMS visa.

The RSMS has less stringent eligibility requirements than the ENS to encourage overseas migrants to live and work in areas that have substantial skills shortages. As the sponsoring employer, you will need to show the regional authority that the position cannot be filled locally.
